From Expansion to Opportunity: A Year of Growth in Visayas and Mindanao

One year ago, Qualitest Inspection Services announced its expansion into the Visayas and Mindanao regions with the goal of bringing responsive and reliable inspection services closer to clients throughout the Philippines.

Looking back today, that decision has opened doors to opportunities across a wider range of industries than we initially anticipated.

Over the past year, Qualitest has strengthened its presence in the region, supporting both local and international organizations involved in agricultural commodities and trade. Through referrals, industry relationships, and the trust of our clients, we have had the opportunity to participate in projects involving sugar, rice, and cargo fumigation verification.

Supporting Agricultural Commodities

As agricultural trade continues to play a vital role in the Philippine economy, independent inspection and verification services remain essential in building confidence throughout the supply chain.

Throughout the year, Qualitest has supported the sugar industry through inspection, sampling, and cargo verification activities. These engagements have further strengthened our experience in handling commodities where quality, quantity, and condition verification are critical.

Our involvement in rice inspection projects has also expanded, including assignments supporting organizations involved in food supply and humanitarian programs. Through sampling, quality verification, and cargo monitoring activities, we continue to help stakeholders maintain transparency and confidence in their cargo movements.

Cargo Fumigation Verification

Qualitest has also supported clients through fumigation verification inspections for bulk agricultural cargoes. These inspections involve independent monitoring and verification activities designed to confirm that treatment requirements have been properly carried out, helping stakeholders maintain confidence in cargo condition and regulatory compliance.

Growth Through Trust

As we reflect one year onward, we are grateful for the opportunities that emerged through relationships built on trust, professionalism, and consistent service. Some projects came from expected sources, while others arrived through referrals and introductions that connected us with new clients and industries.

What began as a regional expansion gradually evolved into broader participation in agricultural commodity inspections, allowing Qualitest to support the movement, storage, and verification of essential cargoes throughout the Philippines.

Looking Ahead

One year after our expansion into Visayas and Mindanao, Qualitest continues to grow alongside the industries and communities we serve.

From sugar warehouses and rice storage facilities to bulk cargo vessels and agricultural supply chains, we remain committed to providing independent inspection services built on integrity, professionalism, and trust.

We thank our clients, partners, and stakeholders for being part of this journey and look forward to supporting even more opportunities in the years ahead.

QIS/ATSS Supports First ANCOP Virtual Global Walk

Through the years, QIS/ATSS has always been a proud supporter of ANswering the Cry Of the Poor(ANCOP)’s annual Ancop Global Walk (AGW). This year has been extra challenging, and was held virtually for the first time instead of the early morning walks made by throngs of supporters. Inspite of the changes brought about by the pandemic which affected businesses, this has not stopped the organization from giving a contribution in order to support scholars, who one day may contribute to a better society by shaping their future through education.

Remarkably, aside from deserving scholars, ANCOP also has the Cornerstone program, which aims to give weekly tutorials in partnership with some of the nation’s major universities, to the bottom performing public school students to reinforce their chances of securing their education in the longer term.

For this year, instead of an early morning program, the sponsors and supporters held walks in their own vicinities, followed by a virtual program on YouTube and Facebook Live highlighting the students that have been helped by the program as well as the sponsors worldwide. Virtual or actual, the organization strongly supports education for a better future not just for the students, but for society as a whole.
